Current card requests

 Dear card writers,

Right now, we have three special card requests:

πŸ’› Cards for K.:

K., 55, just received the devastating news that her cancer has returned. She lives with her elderly parents—who she hasn’t told yet, hoping to spare them the worry. Though facing this alone, she continues to hold onto her faith and belief in healing. In two weeks, K. will begin an experimental chemotherapy treatment, and a box full of encouraging cards could be the comfort and strength she needs to get through it. πŸ’Œ Read more HERE.

πŸ’› Cards for E.:

A few weeks ago, I invited our community to send cards to the family of 12-year-old Emery, who tragically lost her life after being struck by a distracted driver (read more here). The outpouring of compassion was beautiful, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who responded.

Today, I have a special request: cards for E., Emery’s 13-year-old best friend, who was right beside her when the accident happened. E. witnessed the unimaginable and has been deeply traumatized and heartbroken ever since. Let’s surround her with love and remind her she’s not alone. πŸ’Œ Read more HERE.

πŸ’› Cards for the Chalekian family:

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to invite you to send cards filled with love, comfort, and strength to the Chalekian family, who are enduring an unimaginable loss.Their beloved daughter, Emery, just 12 years old, was tragically hit by a car while crossing the street with friends — the driver ran a red light. [Read more here.]

Together, we can make a difference—one card at a time.
