Supplies needed
(affiliate links for your convenience)
- Square paper (colored, patterned, or textured)
- Glue stick
- Scissors (optional)
- Pencil & ruler (optional for precision)
- Decorative items (stickers, washi tape, stamps, or markers)
1. Position Your Paper
Place the square paper in a diamond shape (one corner pointing up).
2. Fold the Bottom Corner Up
Take the bottom corner and fold it upwards until it reaches a little past the center of the square. Crease the fold well.
3. Fold the Side Corners Inward
- Take the left corner and fold it towards the center.
- Then, take the right corner and fold it towards the center, slightly overlapping the left fold.
- The bottom part now forms the envelope’s pocket.
4. Secure the Side Flaps
Use a glue stick or double-sided tape to seal where the two side flaps overlap. Be careful not to apply glue inside the pocket!
5. Fold the Top Flap Down
Take the top corner and fold it downward to close the envelope. If you want a pointed flap, fold it straight down. If you prefer a rounded flap, trim the corner slightly before folding.
