Over the past five years, he has endured the pain of losing his father, mother, and sister. Last Friday, he suffered yet another devastating loss—his brother, Jurandir, was hit by a car. Tragically, as Sidnei walked past a crosswalk where a body lay, he approached to see who it was and, in deep despair, realized it was his own brother.
