Directions:

Drying leaves for crafts is simple and fun—and the results can be beautiful for projects like your Love It Forward List cards!

🍂💌 Here are a few easy methods to try:

🌿 1. Pressing Leaves (Book Method)

Best for: Flat, delicate leaves
How-to:

  • Choose clean, dry leaves (not damp or freshly watered).

  • Place each leaf between two sheets of parchment or wax paper.

  • Insert the layered leaf into a heavy book.

  • Stack more books on top and leave it for 1–2 weeks.

  • When ready, remove and use as-is or spray with a light sealant for protection.

🔥 2. Ironing Leaves (Quick Method)

Best for: When you need them the same day
How-to:

  • Place a leaf between two sheets of wax paper or paper towels.

  • Use a warm (not hot) iron, no steam, and press for 1-2 minutes.

  • Let cool, then peel off the wax paper—voilà! Flat, dry, and ready to use.
