A few months ago, my son’s girlfriend’s mother sent me a link to a TV segment (you can watch it HERE) that featured Emily and her heartwarming art. From the moment I watched it, I was completely enchanted by her talent, creativity, and spirit.
With my journalism instincts kicking in, I tracked down her mailing address and sent her a handwritten card to express how moved I was by what she does.
And guess what? She wrote back.
Not only that — Emily is now one of our Love it Forward List volunteers, creating the most stunning envelopes you can imagine for each story she receives. Every piece she sends is a small masterpiece of kindness.
