At 79, Kyria has dedicated her life to caring for others as a holistic therapist, working with acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and post-operative rehabilitation in Brazil. Known for her energy and hard work, she was always active and committed to health and well-being.
In October 2024, she received an unexpected diagnosis: lung cancer. Since then, she has been undergoing aggressive chemotherapy. Complications with her foot and pneumonia led to a hospitalization that has now become indefinite.
This journey has been both physically and emotionally painful, leaving Kyria discouraged after a lifetime of vitality.
