A few weeks ago, Roger’s life changed when he was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, the family has been navigating a difficult and uncertain journey filled with medical appointments, scans, procedures, biopsies, and surgery. When the tumors were removed, they received pathology results confirming aggressive stage III colorectal cancer.
This has been incredibly hard and heartbreaking for the family, but they are holding tight to their faith as Christians. As Psalm 46:1 remindst hem, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
While remaining hopeful, the road ahead will be difficult. Treatment includes radiation, chemotherapy, and additional surgery. As they prepare for the next phase, family is focused on supporting Roger and giving him every opportunity to heal and recover.
